Philosophy
Taking play seriously.
The mission of Napa Treehouse Preschool & Daycare is to provide a safe, nurturing environment that helps build social-emotional skills. I strive to inspire children's curiosity and creativity through a thoughtful curriculum based on the students' interests.

This program focuses on building a child’s self-esteem. Children with a strong self-esteem have a strengthened confidence to try new things, try their hardest, and be proud of their work and accomplishments. Self-esteem is the corner stone of having children who succeed at school, in life, and with social relationships. Having students who believe in themselves, feel accepted, and are proud of their accomplishment is a major goal at Napa Treehouse Preschool and Daycare.

This is a play based learning environment, which means different themes will be introduced once a month along with creative activities for children to explore. Children learn through play and socializing with others.
This program will prepare your child for kindergarten. Being “ready” for kindergarten means that your child is able to learn what will be taught in a kindergarten classroom, and can function comfortably with teachers and other children in that setting.

The skills that define Kindergarten readiness are far broader than knowing letters, numbers, and colors.
To be ready for kindergarten, your child needs to have a positive attitude towards starting school and some understanding of why he or she will be going there. He or she needs to be receptive to learning new things and making new friends.
At Napa Treehouse Preschool and Daycare your child will be building many different skills in all areas of development.
Early Childhood Education is not only a preparation for the future but an active experience in building a solid learning foundation for your child.

My personal philosophy is that children learn best through fun and laughter. Our classroom has dancing, singing, dress up, make believe, creating, experimenting, storytelling, jumping, running, and smiling. It is important that children are comfortable to explore, learn, and laugh.
At Napa Treehouse Preschool & Daycare every child belongs.
I also work as a partner with parents and guardians. Communication is the most crucial area of this partnership. I keep parents well informed about what is happening and about their child.
